FAQ
Everything you're wondering before you start — answered in plain words. If your question isn't here, send it to Gaani.
Do I need any experience to start?
None at all. Every course starts from the very basics — the tools, and how to read a measuring tape — and builds one step at a time.
Is the course in Punjabi?
Yes — Gaani teaches in Punjabi, with clear English captions and on-screen animations for every step, so it's easy to follow along.
How do I get my course after I pay?
Straight after payment, your course is waiting in My Learning (in the menu at the top of every page). Sign in with the email you used at checkout and press play — on your phone, tablet or computer.
What will I be able to make?
That depends on the course — each one builds to a complete, wearable garment you measured, drafted, cut and stitched yourself. The flagship takes you from your first measurement to a finished salwar kameez: a full-fitted kameez with pleats and sleeves, and a Patiala-style salwar.
What do I need at home?
A sewing machine, fabric, an inch tape, scissors and a few basics — the first chapter of each course gives you a printable tools checklist so you know exactly what to get. You don't need an overlocker; a zigzag stitch on your home machine finishes raw edges.
What's the difference between the flagship course and the mini courses?
The flagship holds the complete material of all five minis — measuring, the practice shirt, drafting and cutting, the kameez, and the salwar — in learning order. Bought separately the minis come to $425; the flagship is $299.99. If you only need one skill, buy just that mini.
How long do I have access?
For life. One payment, yours to revisit whenever you like, at your own pace.
What if the course isn't for me?
Every course comes with a 7-day guarantee — the refund policy on this site lays out exactly how it works.
